About the project

BMW Particles
In early 2018 we started to develop our particle system pipeline and VFX Team for other projects. We did a quick test of the particle build of a vehicle and although the project was never completed we decided to replicate the system on another vehicle and render it for our portfolio.
The effect is quite mesmerizing and draws your eye in during the sequence. We decided to go for a low-light setup which accentuates the particles and creates a much better contrast with a single light source.
The effect was built in Autodesk Maya and rendered in Vray.
